A VPN adds encryption and an extra hop, so a small speed drop is normal. Picking the nearest server (Australia) keeps it minimal. If speeds are unusually low, try reconnecting to refresh the route.
The free plan includes a daily data allowance and is ad-supported. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited, ad-free use.
Open the app, go to the Premium screen and choose a plan (monthly, 6-monthly or yearly). Payment is handled securely through Google Play.
